Definition : Glomangiopericytoma (sinonasal-type hemangiopericytoma) is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm with myoid phenotype (smooth muscle actin-positive), which distinguishes this tumor from soft tissue hemangiopericytoma/solitary fibrous tumor.

- prominent perivascular hyalinization seen at low mag
- Diffuse SMA +
- benign, mid aged, uncommon
- fascicular/solid/whorled
- spindle/oval cells
- intact overlying respiratory epithelium
- +/- staghorn BV, mast cells, eosino
- beta catenin mutations (PMID 25431235)
- nuclear beta catenin staining.

Immunochemistry

- Diffuse SMA+

- CTNNB1 beta-catenin nuclear expression
